Protecting the privacy of the accounts processed and the legal and compliance interest of our clients have always been in the forefront of Van Ru’s business objectives.

Van Ru has put into place physical and logical security measures that protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of our clients’ data. Security measures include an intruder detection system, virus protection, automated patch managment and a trusted network protected by multiple firewalls. The Information Security Department provides all employees with up-to-date security and policy training and information, which is also available on the company intranet. All new hires take Security Awareness training as part of their initial training activities.

Van Ru maintains a dedicated Information Security department led by a Certified Information Systems Security Professional, which governs all aspects of Van Ru security policy and practice. Van Ru is proud to be compliant under a wide range of standards, including ISO 17799, FFIEC (URSIT), the Gramm-Leach Bliley Act, HIPAA, FDCPA, Patriot Act, the Bank Secrecy Act and FACTA.
