VAN RU CREDIT CORPORATION RAISES MONEY FOR HURRICANE VICTIMS
DES PLAINES, IL, October 27, 2005 – On August 29, 2005 Hurricane Katrina
overwhelmed the Gulf Coast, causing devastation
on a massive scale. Equally immense, however, was
the response to those in need. In keeping with
this spirit of charitable contribution Van Ru and
its employees launched fundraising efforts on August 31 to aid those
devastated and displaced by the hurricanes. Through a combination of
casual dress incentives, bake sales and individual donations Van Ru
raised nearly $5,000 to aid in the relief of hurricane victims. |
