VAN RU Takes the Lead with ED

DES PLAINES, IL, January 26, 2009 – "We are extremely proud of our ED Team, not only for achieving first place for the quarter, but also for increasing to a third place rank in the 12 month long term measure and having the third highest rank average for the entire contract," said Daniel Calderon, Van Ru's President and CEO.

Van Ru's contract performance for the U.S. Department of Education has earned a first place ranking for the CPCS period ending December 31, 2008. ED examines various aspects of collection agency performance through Competitive Performance Continuous Surveillance (CPCS) evaluations throughout the year. Based on our performance among the 12 vendors serving ED on their unrestricted contract, Van Ru maintained an overall first place ranking. Van Ru has provided ED with collection agency services since 1997 and was recently awarded its fourth consecutive contract with the Department.
